project manager / producer

This role is the beating heart of the creative workflow at F9 & loudbox. We believe epic shows only happen when the process is as smooth, organized, and delightfully curated. When the creative minds are deep in the zone, you're the one steering the starship, keeping the beautiful chaos pointed in the right direction. You'll be a studio leader, owning how we organize projects and deploying our talented crew like a master strategist.

You'll Know You're a Rockstar If You Are:

  • The Oracle of Proaction: You're not waiting for a fire; you're already installing the sprinkler system. You solve problems and make brilliant plans before the team even sips their coffee.

  • Impeccably Organized (A.K.A. "Freak in the Sheets"): If checklists, processes, and to-do lists make your heart sing, welcome home. We love a Google Sheets savant!

  • The People Whisperer: You genuinely care about your team. You get your kicks from supporting others so they can create their absolute best work. (And ideally, you think dogs are the best co-workers.)

  • Artistic Process Groupie: You love being close to the action, helping our creative squads turn those big, beautiful ideas into real-world magic.

Must-Haves (Your Utility Belt):

  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager, producer, or similar role, specifically rocking it in live entertainment (concerts preferred!) and/or a creative firm.

  • Ready for adventure: Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25–40% of the year.

  • A master juggler: Strong organizational skills to keep large projects and a galaxy of moving parts flying high.

  • Fluent in Google-ese: Strong skills in the Google ecosystem and all the best project management software.

  • The calm in the storm: Diligent and unflappable, even when the production environment decides to go full rollercoaster.

Project Management: The Conductor

You’re the central bridge between our client and our internal dream team. Your mission is to make the operational side of projects vanish into thin air so the creative team can stay laser-focused on their brilliance.

  • Shepherd projects from "wild idea" (pitch) to "standing ovation" (execution), making sure we nail all deadlines, deliverables, and creative goals.

  • Be the master architect of production schedules, keeping everyone aligned, internally and externally.

  • Build killer meeting agendas, run sessions that actually accomplish things, and fire off clear, witty action items.

  • Occasionally, play nice with the numbers and follow up on accounts payable/receivable.

On-Site Producing: The Hype Person/Fixer

When we go live—rehearsals, production, the whole shebang—you organize the room and keep the vibe high and the process humming.

  • Team up with production management, the artist, and other creative folks to design rehearsal schedules that make the trip to the finish line feel like a cruise.

  • Ensure our team is working efficiently and feeling supported, not just surviving on burnt-out fumes.

  • Jump in wherever a hand is needed; you're a process superhero.

  • Manage all the backstage magic: travel, meals, visas, and anything else that keeps the show running.

Internal Resource Management: Resourcing Czar

You own the big-picture view of who is doing what, across the entire company. The goal is to keep every project perfectly staffed while maintaining a pace that keeps our team happy and healthy.

  • Maintain X-ray vision into the team’s current workload and upcoming capacity.

  • Make strategic provisional assignments across projects.

  • Rebalance the load when projects suddenly swell, timelines decide to tango, or workloads get a little lopsided.

  • Spot schedule risks early (you're basically a time-traveler) and help leadership tweak the scope, staffing, or timeline to save the day.

  • Call in the calvary (external support) when our internal superpowers max out.

  • Coordinate rockstar freelancers and outside vendors when a project needs an extra boost.

Internal Projects & Administration: The Glue

Beyond project duties, you are the organizational sticky-tack that holds the studio together, making sure all internal projects, scheduling, and administrative tasks run flawlessly.

  • Work with directors to spot the internal projects that need our attention.

  • Assign projects to team members and track their legendary progress in Productive.

  • Identify when a team member hits a wall and swoop in to help them find the next epic step.

  • Ensure internal projects follow our secret SOP handbook and are completed and closed out with a bang.

  • Be the administrative wizard who keeps the wheels on the ship and helps the whole organization soar.Final response to user
